Rain, Rain, Go Away

The marathon looked like a great success as it is every year. I stay well clear over this weekend. With all of the road closures and people it’s impossible to get anywhere.

Half Term is 1 week away and the summer holidays are just around the corner. My wife has already booked our summer break away to escape with the kids. The city workers always seem to disappear over this period and the sun brings in a lot of tourists which is great for the trade but can grid lock the streets.

We have another article from Tom Quigley in this issue talking about White Hart Dock. They are always a great read and helpful.

Nissan are back in the running to produce a black cab… keep an eye out in our next issue for a full press release on this. Talking of Cabs London Taxi Company has nearly sold all of their diesel cabs. It won’t be long until there show room is full of new electric cabs ready to hit the road. This will make visiting Brewery Road very interesting.

With the summer fast approaching just remember to keep safe when you are out pointing. With the longer nights now with us please don’t replace your usual biking wear with shorts and a tee shirt. When you see someone come off you understand how important it is to be safe and protected.

BE SAFE BE SEEN,
